Friday, September 29

Parents and visitors are encouraged to use the metered visitor parking lots located throughout campus. Metered parking is $1.50 per hour and you pay in advance.

In addition to metered parking lots, parents and visitors may purchase an all-day parking permit for $10 from the Visitor Registration & Information Center, located at the corner of Dalrymple Dr. and Highland Rd.  The permit will allow parking in the Commuter and Residential parking zones on campus from 7am to 4:30pm.  After 4:30pm, the permit will allow parking in other parking zones on campus.



Saturday, September 30

Parking on Saturday is controlled through the LSU Athletic Department and details on Game Day parking can be found here.

**Please note that activities on Saturday are located in a variety of locations and will require considerable walking from the parking areas to the activities.  The LSU Family Weekend Tailgate is located on the Parade Ground.

Pre-Paid Parking for Saturday:
Discounted parking permits are available for purchase here for Family Weekend registrants for $15 in Lot 407. Click here to view a map of parking area. There is limited availability for these pre-paid parking permits.

Full price parking permits are available for purchase here in the Union Square Parking Garage for $30. Click here to view a map of parking area. There is limited availability for these pre-paid parking permits.

Free Parking on Saturday: 
Old Front Nine, Levee South, The Hayfield, Golf Course, Kirby Smith, Parker Coliseum, Law School, etc.

Parking in these areas is free public parking. Please note that off-campus free parking is not detailed on the LSU Athletics Parking Map. Parking availability in these areas is limited and is first-come, first-served. The Free Parking areas on campus are indicated with the color purple on the parking map.

Game-by-Game Paid Parking:
There is a charge to park in the area west of Highland Road on football gamedays. This area will include parking spaces west of Highland Road, north of Nicholson Drive Extension and south of Chimes Street. Access to this area is sold game-by-game on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cost to park in this area is $20 for vehicles. Utility trailers may be parked in the area for $50 each. Fans may purchase decals at Overnight Decal Sales Locations (OD) starting at noon CT on Fridays prior to home games. Gameday sales will begin approximately 6 a.m. at Game Parking Entrances (GP). Please refer to the blue area of the parking map.

Sunday, October 1

Parents and visitors may park for free in the metered visitor parking lots.  Parents and visitors may also park without a permit in the various parking zones on campus.  Parking restrictions and meter fees are not in effect on Sundays.
