LSU students place in the SPE Eastern Regional paper competition

Congratulations to the four LSU students who placed first or second in the Eastern Region SPE paper competition:

• Renato Coutinho: 1^st place Eastern PhD Division (Advisor: Paulo Waltrich)
• Foad Haeri: 2^nd place Eastern PhD Division (Advisor: Dan Rao)
• Nam Tran: 2^nd place Easter MS Division (Advisor: Mehdi Zeidouni)
• Brennan Flores: 1^st place Eastern Undergraduate Division (Advisor: Wesley Williams)

The two first place winners will move on the represent LSU at the International Competition in Dallas at the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in October.
