College of Engineering to Graduate 91 Students at Summer Commencement Ceremony

 The College of Engineering will graduate the 91 students at Louisiana State University’s 290th commencement ceremony on Friday, August 5, at 9 a.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the Baton Rouge campus.

Among those graduates, 20 students are receiving their bachelor’s degrees, 29 are receiving their master’s degrees, 23 are receiving their Ph.D.’s and 19 are receiving post-baccalaureate certificates.

LSU Manship School of Mass Communication alumna and Washington Post investigative reporter Amy Brittain will deliver the keynote address. Brittain, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, is part of the Washington Post staff recently recognized with a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting.

There will be no separate diploma ceremonies for the August commencement. The one combined ceremony will be streamed live on the LSU homepage, www.lsu.edu. To follow along via social media, use the hashtags #LSUGrad and #IAmAnLSUEngineer.
