Amy Morgan Places 3rd in STEM Discipline Poster Presentations at 2018 LSU Discovery Day

Congratulations go to Amy Morgon who took third place in the STEM discipline poster presentations at the 2018 LSU Discover Day. Her poster was titled "Evaluating Three-Dimensional Cancer Cell Migration to Durotactic Cues in a Microfluidic Device". Amy's research deals with the development a new platform to quantify how cells migrate in response to changes in tissue stiffness found in the tumor microenvironment. This work will provide a greater understanding of the early steps in cancer metastasis. Amy is advised by Adam Melvin and Kevin McPeak.

Discover Day is a campus wide undergraduate research symposium. This year over 200 students participated.
