Genesis Tutoring is a peer tutoring program that focuses on academic excellence that allows students to help each other in a particular subject. Students meet with a tutor one-on-one or in a group session. Our services are free and open to any undergraduate student. We strive to provide tutoring in the following areas:

Peer tutoring begins the second week of classes and ends the last day of classes.
No appointments are needed. We are open Monday-Thursday from 5pm-9pm in the Genesis Tutoring Center located in the LSU Student Union 302G, in the corridor across from the entrance of the Atchafalaya room.

Tutor position you must be a LSU undergraduate student, have an overall GPA of 3.0
or higher, credit or completion of applicable courses with an A or B, and attend
all tutor meetings. Becoming a Genesis Tutor is an excellent position to demonstrate
and enhance your communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to think critically,
manage learning and studying strategies, increase your subject-specific knowledge,
and time management skills.
