PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

On-farm delivery of semen, nitrogen and supplies on a regular basis.

Breeding technician service is available in six areas of the state.

Large selection of both Dairy and Beef sires.

Herd Analysis Program is available upon request to both Dairy and Beef cattlemen.

AI Training Schools are held three to four times a year whereby some 75 individuals are trained according to NAAB-approved standards.

Custom storage of privately-owned semen is routinely provided.

Long-Term Custom Collection of semen from privately-owned bulls is provided.

Four area fieldmen provide routine service statewide.

Top quality semen from proven sires are available from several organi zations through LABC.

Semen is processed in .5-ml straws and meets all NAAB-CSS standards.

All herd sires are routinely health tested to meet NAAB-CSS standards at least twice yearly.

Housing facilities include spaces for some 70 bulls.

Semen is evaluated for quality parameters before processing and after being frozen to insure a top quality product.

Progeny tests 10 dairy sires each year.

LABC is a member of a Federation which is composed of Eastern Artifi cial Insemination Cooperative and Atlantic Breeders Cooperative.

The Federation was formed on January 1, 1986 to provide a close working relationship between the three cooperatives in all phases of
AI activity.

Federated Genetics is a marketing partnership of the Federation which distributes semen in some domestic areas as well as many export
markets.

LABC is a member of World Wide Sires which exports semen to Europe and Asia.

Semen distribution is available throughout the United States and all foreign markets through the three member-cooperatives, Federated
Genetics and World Wide Sires.

LABC distributes semen from 21st Century Genetics and New Breeds Industry.

LABC has been a life-time member of both the NAAB and NAAB-CSS programs.

Bull semen can be frozen and stored in liquid nitrogen (-320oF) and will remain fertile for an indefinite period of time.
