Lincoln Theater Restoration
Are you interested in restoration efforts? Join Volunteer LSU, as we work in the Old South Baton Rouge community to help organize and clean the Lincoln Theater in preparation for it to become a Community Center for neighborhood residents. Register today for this project taking place on Friday, March 15 from 2pm-5pm.

Community Outreach Pointe Coupee
We will be clearing out and reorganizing classrooms at Point Coupee High School. This will help create more usuable space and allow the school to increase their students enrollment. It will take place Saturday, March 23rd from 8 am - 5 pm.

Geaux BIG Baton Rouge

Geaux BIG Baton Rouge is a brand new student organization that will plan LSU's biggest community service project. This will bring together volunteers from the LSU community doing projects requested by Baton Rouge community members. That could be anything from painting houses, doing yard work, simple cleaning, etc.  More details to come!

CHANGE Break : Tennessee 2013
Did you know that the Appalachian Tennessee area has some of the highest poverty rates in America? During CHANGE Break: Tennessee 2013, 10 students will volunteer in the Appalachian region of Tennessee from April 1-6 to help address issues of poverty.

Summer 2013
Volunteer LSU is sponsoring an international service trip during summer 2013. Ten students will be selected to travel to Cai Cay, Peru to work with a local village on community development projects and educational lessons with children. Trip cost is $1,000 (airfare, lodging, most meals included).
