Tigers with the Tide
Over Fall Break, a group of 20 students and 3 advisers went to Tuscaloosa for 3 days to work with Habitat for Humanity. We participated in the rebuilding efforts occurring there after the tornado last April. We listened to several community members speak about their experiences during and after the tornado along with students from the University of Alabama and the University of Southern Mississippi our first day there; we also bonded with the students over dinner at an Alabama local favorite Dreamland BBQ. On site, we worked with students from Clemson University & UA to frame & sheath one house, as well as do yard work & the interiors of another.
