Focus Areas
Volunteer LSU was created in 2006 as the university’s umbrella service organization to help make an impact in the Baton Rouge community and beyond. Our projects vary in interest, from restoration to working with youth, and even doing service internationally! They are open to all students, faculty, and staff and we encourage everyone to attend. No matter what your interests are, we have a project for you or can help to lead you in the right direction. Volunteer LSU has five main focus areas: Baton Rouge Restoration and Beautification, Civic Awareness and Engagement, Environmental & Disaster Response, Health and Wellness Outreach, and Youth Programs.
