Register for a Daily Campus Visit
There are a number of ways for students to become acquainted with LSU, but the best by far is to visit! The Office of Undergraduate Admissions & Student Aid offers two daily campus visits Monday – Friday, excluding holidays. Our campus tours are at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. every weekday. Check-in and registration for our tours begins at Pleasant Hall.
The campus tour includes an information session and a walking tour of LSU. The walking tour will showcase LSU’s “oaks and arches” and the main academic areas of campus. After each session, you will have an opportunity to visit and explore various departments and colleges on campus (depending upon availability), including our residence halls.
Due to limited space on the tour, we cannot guarantee space for guests who have not registered online. If you determine that you need to register for an additional number of guests, please complete a 2nd online registration and include the total number in your party with your 2nd registration. The 2nd registration will replace the 1st registration.
Schedule Your Daily Tour:
Saturday Tours
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions & Student Aid periodically offers campus tours on Saturdays. Click here to check availability of dates and to register. Saturday tours include an information session and a walking tour of campus. No departmental advisors will be available for appointments on these days.
Transfer Student Tour
Transfer tours are offered every Friday at 11 a.m. These tours are designed to give prospective transfer students a unique view of campus. The tour starts with an information session about the transfer enrollment process led by an admissions counselor. After the session, participants will tour the campus guided by a LSU Student Liaison. The entire tour typically lasts 90 minutes.
Online registration is strongly encouraged. If you are a transfer student, but cannot make a transfer tour, you are more than welcome to sign up for one of our daily campus tours which are offered Monday-Friday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and typically last 90 minutes.

Group Tours
LSU group tours are designed for college-bound high school students and provide an inside look at Louisiana State University and everything that it has to offer.
Due to the increasing number of group tours we see annually, we are unable to accept reservations for those groups with students under the age of 12 and/or students in grades below 8th grade. There are, however, several other available activities for your group on campus (i.e. exploring the Natural Science Museum, grabbing a scoop of ice cream at the LSU Dairy Store or visiting Mike, our live Siberian-Bengal tiger).
Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible, but no later than two weeks prior to your desired visit date. Group tours are scheduled on a first come, first served basis and are available Monday - Friday.
We do our best to accommodate your date and time preference, but due to campus events, university holidays or other special circumstances, we may have to consider alternative dates. For your convenience the dates unavailable for group tours are listed below:

On the Day of your Group Visit
Since the LSU Liaisons are current LSU students, arriving at your scheduled time is imperative. If your group is late for its tour time, the itinerary may be modified or canceled.
If the total number of visitors changes, please contact the tours office so that we have an accurate number of visitors on campus and plan your tour accordingly.
Tours are given, rain or shine, so please prepare your group if inclement weather is expected.
If you have any questions or other inquiries, please email the LSU Campus Tours office at tours@lsu.edu or call 225.578.6908.
