LSU Employee Parking & Identification Cards

Visiting the Campus

Directions to the campus
Campus Map

Prior to obtaining an LSU Employee Parking Pass, you will need a Visitor’s Pass in order to park on campus. You may obtain a visitor’s pass at the Visitor’s Center located on the corner of Dalrymple Drive and Highland Road.

Also, be aware that some streets throughout the campus are restricted as part of LSU’s “Easy Streets” initiative, which may require prior approval to access them. (See map for a listing of restricted streets.)

Personnel Action Form (PAF-2)

In order to obtain an LSU employee parking pass or identification “Tiger” card, you must have a completed PAF-2 Form. You will need to obtain a copy of your completed PAF-2 form from your HR contact/departmental administrative assistant.

Employee Parking

Faculty and staff may obtain an employee parking permit from the Office of Parking, Traffic & Transportation in the Public Safety Building on South Stadium Road between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday. (Note: To avoid having to obtain a visitor’s pass and/or encounter restricted streets, you should access South Stadium Road from Nicholson Drive.)

You must present a copy of your PAF-2 as verification of your employment. Three employee parking plans (A-C) are available, and they range in price and availability (see map/regulations for specific areas).

“C” parking is the only plan that guarantees reserved parking in a specified lot. Entry into a “C” lot is based on availability, and wait times vary according to the demand for a particular lot. (Note: It may take up to five years to obtain access to some lots on campus.) For additional information on “C” lot availability, see “Parking Tips for New Employees.

Identification (“Tiger”) Cards

Faculty and staff may obtain a Tiger Card during the HRM New Employee Orientation. However, you may also obtain a Tiger Card at any time by presenting a copy of your PAF-2 Form to the Tiger Card Office (see link for office hours). All persons must present a valid driver’s license, passport, or a state-issued photo ID before a Tiger card will be processed. You may obtain a Tiger Card in the Acadian Room of the LSU Union if you fulfill the eligibility requirements listed above.
