LSU students travel, study abroad
Some 371 LSU students participated in 23 different programs as a part of LSU Academic Programs Abroad this summer. Many of the students brought special "Here’s a Hug From LSU" dolls for pictures at famous sites around the world, which are displayed on LSU Academic Programs Abroad’s Facebook page.
Directed and designed by LSU faculty members, LSU Academic Progams Abroad's summer programs take students to destinations all over the world. For summer 2012, for example, destinations include such countries as Spain, Ireland, Germany, China, and Ecuador, and courses included English, political science, mass communication, theatre, language instruction, architecture, engineering and history. Summer programs last from 4-6 weeks, and students take six hours of credit in LSU courses.
For the student with summer commitments, there are opportunities to study abroad with LSU programs during spring break and intersession. For more information on LSU Academic Programs Abroad, visit http://ocs-web2.ocs.lsu.edu/apa/.
