After spring grade check, an appeal form will be automatically mailed to students not meeting SAP to be completed and returned to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Student Aid.  If the appeal is approved, the student is eligible to receive federal financial aid for the academic year.  If the appeal is denied, the student is not eligible for federal financial aid for the academic year.  Students who are denied cannot re-appeal within the same academic year.

Appeal Deadlines

To ensure adequate processing time for a student to receive funds, students must submit an appeal within three weeks from the date the appeal is mailed to the student.  Students not meeting this deadline may have a delay in the processing of their aid if their appeal is approved.
