How to Find Specific Courses that Transfer

At LSU we are committed to providing all the information that you will need in order to have an easy and seamless transfer.  When using our Tiger Transfer Tables, first find your state or country, then you will be asked to find your institution, you can indicate the area of study to see a list of courses and how they transfer to LSU.

Please be aware that this list of courses is not comprehensive.  This list reflects courses that have previously been evaluated by our faculty for transfer equivalency to LSU.  If you do not see your course under your institution, the course has not been evaluated by our faculty for direct equivalency, but it is still transferrable by title.  We will continue to update this list as we evaluate incoming transfer credit on a regular basis. Only domestic coursework from regionally accredited institutions, and international coursework from institutions recognized by their country’s Ministry of Education, will transfer to LSU.

Additional Transfer Equivalency Resources

The Board of Regents Catalog site contains catalogs from all 27, two and four year public institutions in Louisiana.

Note for LSU Students taking courses at another institution:

Students who receive an "F" in a course must repeat the course in the LSU system in order to receive credit and quality points for it.  With prior concurrence of the chair of the department in which the course is offered and the dean of the college in which  the student is enrolled, credit and quality points may be approved in individual cases for courses repeated outside the LSU System.

Students who fail a course twice at LSU may not retake the course without approval from the dean of the students major college.  Appeals to enroll in a course after having failed the course twice need to be initiated immediately following the semester or summer term in which the second failing grade was earned, but no later than the first class day of the next semester or summer term enrolled.
