Freshman Application Process

 We are ready to start working with you! The first step in the enrollment process is to complete an application for admission. Once you submit your application online with the $40 application fee, you will hear from us very soon via email to let you know that we have received your application.  LSU currently does not have any funding available for an applicaion fee waiver for the 2012-2013 academic year.

 

  • If you are attending a Louisiana high school, we will be able to automatically access your grades electronically through the Louisiana Department of Education. In the event that we need a paper transcript, we will contact you or your school counselor.

 

  • If you are from outside of Louisiana, please request that your high school mail us an official transcript in a sealed envelope. The address is:

  • All entering freshman applicants must have official standardized test scores sent to LSU. We accept either ACT or SAT scores. To request ACT scores go to act.org.  To request SAT scores go to collegeboard.org. Please request that the scores be sent  directly to our office electronically.

 

  • If you have enrolled in any dual enrollment courses for college credit, please have the college or university that awarded credit send an official transcript to:
