Erin Bernard, a native of Houma, Louisiana, graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University’s Manship School of Mass Communication with a B.A. in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration. While earning her degree, Erin interned at Diane Allen & Associates Advertising and Public Relations in Baton Rouge and with the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business in the office of Alumni & External Relations. Erin has also worked on various campaigns where she has gained experience in advertising, marketing and public relations. Working with organizations such as Gaitway Therapeutic Horsemanship, the Red Shoes Personal & Spiritual Growth Center and LSU’s campus organization for Tobacco-Free Living, Erin has been able to put skills she learned at LSU to great use in the LSU and Baton Rouge community.  

Her favorite LSU memories include attending Tiger home football games, enjoying LSU’s beautiful campus and running around the LSU Lakes. Erin encourages incoming students to get to know LSU’s campus and all it has to offer. Her best advice is to get involved and meet new people while making the most of your LSU experience so that you can build a great future and career.
