Alumni, parents, and anyone with a love for LSU is welcome to volunteer! A strong knowledge of the university and the LSU experience is essential to succeed as a volunteer.

I have volunteered in the past, am I already in the LSU Alumni Recruiting network?

The LSU Alumni Recruiting Network is a formal name and expanded structure for our existing volunteer program. We hope to bring together new and veteran volunteers for a stronger, more cohesive alumni volunteer presence.

We are currently asking ALL volunteers, regardless of past service, to sign up anew via the registration page.

I signed up but have not been informed of recruiting opportunities

The Admission process is dynamic and ever-changing. Our needs vary greatly depending upon time of year and geographic locations. We contact volunteers on an as-needed basis.

Much of the success of Alumni Recruiting Network depends on having a reliable group of volunteers at the ready. We ask for your patience as our network grows and evolves. We appreciate your enthusiasm and willingness to be on board.

Also, we expect to expand over the next several years, during which time more opportunities are likely to become available.

I heard about a college fair in my area. May I attend it on behalf of LSU?

Firstly, thank you for your initiative! College fair attendance must be approved by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions & Student Aid. This is primarily so we can track of which events LSU has participated and monitor our success in the area.

The same procedure applies to other college information sessions, panels and events that may come up in your area. Our resources do not extend to every opportunity, but we appreciate knowing about these events in your area. If you are interested in attending a college fair or other event on behalf of LSU, please email alumnirecruiting@lsu.edu with as much prior notice as possible.

How do I get promotional materials for a college fair or event?

If you need brochures, pens, or promotional materials for a college fair or event you can email alumnirecruiting@lsu.edu with the details of the event and amount requested.

I work in a school. How can I get promotional items to decorate my classroom?

We would be happy to help you deck out your classroom or office in LSU spirit! When you register for the Alumni Recruiting Network please indicate that you work in education and what school. We will automatically send you a care package for your classroom.
