PROMOTION

Promotion is a major way for the LSU Dairy Science Club to go into the community and share what we do.  We do this by providing high school students with opportunities to learn more about the fields of Dairy and Agriculture.  Click on the links to look at some great pictures of promotional events!

FFA CONTEST

The State FFA Contest is held every Spring at the LSU Dairy and Teaching Farm.  Students from the Dairy Science Club as well as our advisors and instructors in the department help to prepare as well as to promote what they have to offer.

JUNIOR EXHIBITORS SOCIAL

In early spring, the Dairy Science Club travels to nearby Gonzalez, La to the 4-H Livestock Show to promote the Dairy Science Club and the Department of Dairy Science.  We do this by providing exhibitors and their families with a jambalaya dinner, milk, and of course, LSU Dairy Store ice cream!
