ABOUT
US
For
information about joining the club contact advisor Cathy Williams at cwilliams@agcenter.lsu.edu
or Bridget Lyons at blyons3@lsu.edu.
-
The Club was originally created as the "Cow and Cream Club".
It later became the LSU Dairy Science Club in 1930.
-
Anyone can
join the Dairy Science Club! Your major does not have to be Dairy
Science or even within the College of Agriculture. We invite students
who are interested in promoting Dairy Science while providing service and
those looking to have a good time doing it.
-
When
students join the Dairy Science Club their dues automatically go towards
becoming a member of ADSA (American Dairy Science Association).
-
Dues are
$12.00 per year.
-
We meet
every other Wednesday in 201 Dairy Science (unless otherwise
specified).
-
Every
Summer we attend and compete at the ADSA-SAD National Meeting and every
Spring we attend and compete at the ADSA-SAD Southern Meeting.
