Kristie Galy is a PhD candidate in the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development at Louisiana State University. She is also an adjunct professor for the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development. Ms. Galy is the Director of the College of Human Sciences & Education’s Office of Sponsored Research, where she oversees grant proposal submissions and assists faculty members seeking external funding. Her duties include budget development, enhancing community partnerships, and training faculty on current federal, state, & university guidelines. In 2007, she was elected to serve on the LSU Staff Senate. From 2011-2012, Ms. Galy was elected to serve as Staff Senate President. Ms. Galy has served on many campus committees, and was Chair of the University Council on Gender Equity (formally the University Council on Women) in 2012.
