BATON ROUGE, LA – The second annual She Geauxs! Women’s Leadership Conference will be held at the Cook Conference Center on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

“We are excited to once again offer an opportunity that will bring together women of all personal and professional paths to create a community of support and encouragement that is dedicated to the advancement of all women,” said Dr. Tracey Rizzuto, Associate Director of the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development.

The full-day conference will feature encouraging keynote speakers, including Dr. Beverly Thompson of Brooks Thompson Consulting, Representative Julie Stokes of Louisiana District 79, and actress/comedian, Lara Grice.  In addition, this conference will tackle important issues such as the pay gap, salary negotiation, work/life balance, diversity and inclusion, and more through impactful breakout sessions.

“It is important to us, as the conference organizers, that we create an environment that encourages dialogue amongst women on the topics and issues we face daily,” said Kristie Galy, Director of Sponsored Research within the LSU College of Human Sciences & Education. “We are excited about the speakers we have lined up and we know it will be a dynamic and powerful day.”

The She Geauxs! Women’s Leadership Conference is produced by the LSU School of Leadership & Human Resource Development within the LSU College of Human Sciences & Education and in partnership with Junior League of Baton Rouge.
