College of Human Sciences & Education Students Comprise Three of the Tiger Twelve
Join us in congratulating College of Human Sciences & Education students, Tori Callais, Madison Hopper, and Stephanie Casnave on being named members of the Tiger Twelve class of 2018. Each spring, 12 individuals are selected by the LSU Office of the Dean of Students and recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university and to the surrounding community.
Tori Callais – Graduate School, Master of Arts in Education
Hometown: Denham Springs, LA
Tori’s undergraduate and graduate experience at LSU has opened up opportunities to serve her campus, community and excel in the classroom. Her involvement as an LSU ambassador propelled her into leadership roles as Spring invitational Chair, Orientation Executive Chair and Orientation Team Leader. Tori served as an RA in her time as an undergraduate and is currently the president of the Higher Education Students and Professionals Association while studying Student Affairs at the graduate level.
Stephanie Casnave – Kinesiology, Human Movement - BS
Hometown: Augusta, Georgia
Stephanie’s commitment to the community has been a large part of her LSU experience. She has spent much of her time in volunteer positions: at the LSU Food Pantry, with McMain’s Children Developmental Center under pediatric physical and occupational therapists, and as a student tutor with LSYOU. Stephanie has worked as a research assistant in the Kinesiology Department in her senior year and served as the Special Events Director in LSU’s Kitchens on the Geaux.
Madison Hopper – Kinesiology, Human Movement - BS
Hometown: DeRidder, Louisiana
As an active participant in Greek life, Madison has served on the Greek Board of Directors, as the 2017 Panhellenic Council President and the 2017 Panhellenic Liaison on the Greek Fee Advisory Board. Madison is also in the Order of Omega, a national honor society for Greek students that only allows the top two percent of all Greek students to be considered for membership. She has also been a part of Leadership LSU, Dr. Keppler’s University Student Leadership Cabinet and President Alexander’s Task Force on Greek Life.
