Office of Professional Experiences

The Office of Professional Experiences coordinates field and clinical experiences for P-12 teaching candidates in the School of Education initial certification programs, including collaborative secondary concentrations in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences and the College of Science.

Functions of the Office of Professional Experiences include: 

  • Ensuring that program, University, state, and national standards are met during clinical experiences
  • Providing a support system for university faculty who guide teaching candidates
  • Serving as a primary link between University and school partners who provide field experiences in multiple and diverse school settings
