Higher education search consultant Bill Funk of R. William Funk and Associates of Dallas will assist in recruiting candidates for the post. Once a pool of applicants is narrowed to three or four finalists, candidates will be invited to LSU for interviews with campus and community groups. Recommendations on who should be LSU’s next chancellor will be submitted to Louisiana State University System President Dr. John V. Lombardi who will then make his recommendation as president to the LSU Board of Supervisors.
