What an exciting time to be a Tiger! The spirit that enables LSU to excel in the fields of research, education, and community service may not be as visible as it is with our BCS National Champion football team. But its impact on Louisiana and the nation makes us champions one and all.

LSU’s championship spirit extended far beyond the football field this past year; it infused everything our students, faculty, and nationally recognized programs did all year long.

LSU has one of only 11 accredited programs in the country that prepares medical physicists for careers in cancer diagnosis and therapy.

LSU's School of Landscape Architecture has the second-ranked undergraduate program in the entire United States.

LSU was one of only six universities recognized in the first-ever President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
