Chancellor's Message
Over the past few weeks, LSU has worked diligently to inform the LSU community about how recently proposed state budget cuts to higher education will adversely affect our Flagship University. In a continuing effort to educate and inform students, faculty, staff, and the public at large about the severity of these cuts, LSU has created this and the following Web pages containing the latest updates on the budget crisis.

Includes recent updates to the LSU family, as well as performance information showing what LSU has been able to accomplish. This information is meant not only to inform the public of our great successes, but to make it aware of the jeopardy posed to them with even a modest budget cut.
