Tina received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, Illinois. Her MA thesis examined the syntactic and semantic structure of ditransitive verbs in English. Her research interests include syntax, semantics, language acquisition, and language issues associated with dementia patients. As a doctoral student in linguistics, Tina is currently working in the lab on the SLI dialect project and working on her dissertation, which focuses on Swahili intransitive verbs.
