Lesli received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from LSU.  Her MA thesis examined the use of the Stanford-Binet with children who live in the rural South.  She is currently working on her dissertation, and this work is funded by the LSU Graduate School.  In January of 2008, she and her family (husband Paul, daughter Riley, and son Graham) will be moving to Spokane, WA.  There she will work at Eastern Washington University as an Assistant Professor.  Her research interests include standardized testing, non-biased experimental probes and language assessment.
