Kyomi Gregory is a native of New York City. She completed her Bachelors’ degree at the State University of New York at New Paltz State College in Communication Disorders. She received her masters’ degree from the University at Buffalo. Following graduation, she worked as a speech language pathologist in the public schools, early intervention, and long-term care facilities in New York City. Her research interests include child language acquisition and assessment in culturally and linguistically diverse populations, parent training and prevention models in speech language pathology, and regional dialect differences. Kyomi works in the LDD lab and is funded by a NIH research assistantship
