Andromeda is a native of Baton Rouge, LA. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English – Writing and Culture from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at LSU. Her research interests include child language acquisition and development in the context of differing US dialects, cultural biases in standardized testing as it relates to linguistic diversity, and the effects of poverty on the prevalence of reading and language impairments in children.
