Andrew "Andy-Rooney" Rivière is a native of Moreauville, Louisiana and is a graduate of Avoyelles High School.  He received his Bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2006.  From 2008-2010, he taught French at Archbishop Shaw High School.  In 2009, he received his Master's degree from Louisiana State University in French Studies with a concentration in Language and Society.  His thesis was titled Turn-taking and Gaze Behavior Patterns among Speakers of Cajun French and Cajun English in Avoyelles Parish.  His current interests include dual language disorders between Cajun English/Cajun French speakers in Louisiana. Andy works in the LDD lab and is funded by a NIH research assistantship.
