Faculty
The faculty of the University is defined
as full-time members of the academic staff having the rank of instructor or
higher (or equivalent ranks). (Section 1-2.2 a, Bylaws and Regulations of
the Board of Supervisors.)The faculty, through the Faculty Council,
shall establish curricula, fix standards of instruction, determine requirements
for degrees, and generally determine educational policy, subject to the authority
of the Board of Supervisors. The authorities and responsibilities of
the Faculty Council have been delegated to the elected Faculty Senate.
