What do you do at LSU?  ?  I serve as the Coordinator for African American Student Affairs in the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA). I also oversee the LSU African American Cultural Center (AACC) and serve as the resident counselor in OMA.

What groups or organizations do you advise at LSU?  AACC Ambassadors, Black Student Union (BSU), and the Black History Month Committee

How long have you been advising this organization?  AACC Ambassadors for two years, Black Student Union (BSU) for one month, and the Black History Month Committee for one year

How would students get involved in your organization?  All of the events and meeting dates for the student organizations that operate out of the AACC can be found on the AACC's website, www.lsu.edu/aacc. They will also all be present at the Student Involvement Fair on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the LSU Union Plaza.

Does your organization have a website? www.lsu.edu/aacc

Do you have any advice for students interested in getting involved on campus?
Be open. Try something new. This is one of the few times in your life when you will have the freedom (and time) to challenge yourself in ways you would have never imagined. Don't be afraid to participate in something that's unfamiliar, and have fun!
