Student Organization Officer Training

Campus Life requires student organization leaders to complete training on LSU policies and procedures once per year. This course will cover information about Campus Life and LSU Policies, as well as information about event planning and resources for organizations.
New organizations have different requirements and deadlines than those that are active. Please see details below and click here to access the online course, or go to community.moodle2.lsu.edu and click on the “Officer Training” course under “Campus Life.”

Failure to complete officer training (as outlined in “Policy 5 - Training Requirements”) will result in the organization being placed on transitional or inactive status.

Active Organizations

Active organizations are required to have at least two organization officers must complete the online training through Community Moodle annually by September 15th (fall semester) and/or February 15th (spring semester) depending when annual/semester elections are held; also, as each new officer is elected.

New Organizations

New organizations are required to have the training completed by all founding members (or newly elected officers) of the organization. Training should be completed online within one month of the date the online application is submitted to Campus Life. New organizations must also complete the training for “Starting an Organization” through Community Moodle before submitting the online application. Please click here to access the online course, or go to community.moodle2.lsu.edu and click on the “Starting an Organization” course under “Campus Life.”
