Macy is a wonderful asset to our Campus LIfe team. Recently, she has been involved in Community Bound, Highland Art Project, and LSDVI Halloween Crafts. Macy is also the Historian for Phi Sigma Pi, and she gives on campus tours to prosepective students as an LSU Liason. She has a heart for service and VLSU definietly wouldn't be the same without her.

Future Plans: Teach Algebra 1 or Geometry at a large public high school in the New Orleans or Baton Rouge area, and be a positive role model and mentor for my students. I eventually plan to come back to graduate school in order to become a school counselor, school administrator, or school libriarian.
If you could trade places with one person, who would you chose? : I'm pretty content with being myself, but if I had to choose, I'd pick Kate Middleton because she gets to travel a lot, many little girls look up to her, and I mean hello... have you seen that ring???
Advice for Freshmen: Step out of your comfort zone. Join a club and meet new people. Just be yourself, and you are bound to make new friends with similar interests as you. As scary and overwhelming as this large campus may be, remember all the freshmen are in the same boat as you. Everyone is trying to find their place here, and you will eventually, it just takes some time. Most importantly, have fun! Everything is so new and exciting freshmen year, and you won't be an LSU student forever. Time will fly, so enjoy it while it lasts!!!
