Geaux Lead
The Geaux Lead Retreat is an intensive four-day, off-campus leadership development experience offered twice a year. Students explore leadership in a unique environment that is exciting and challenging. The result is an increased level of confidence, a greater understanding of oneself, and the ability to engage with others for leadership that makes a difference. No previous leadership experience or involvement is necessary, only a desire to learn and lead.

What is Geaux Lead?
The Geaux Lead Retreat is an four-day, off-campus leadership development experience available to all LSU students. Fifty students will learn guiding principles and foundational skills to lead in ways that make a difference! Participate in exciting activities and make valuable connections with other students and staff from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
Who should attend?
Anyone interested in leadership is encouraged to apply. No previous leadership experience or involvement is necessary, only a desire to learn and lead. You must be in good academic or disciplinary standing.
Is there a cost?
There is no cost. Geaux Lead is free to attend.
After Geaux Lead...
The Geaux Lead experience does not end at the retreat. Participants are inspired, enlightened, and challenged to become leaders that engage with their communities to make a difference. The retreat serves as a starting point for this process. Geaux Lead students are offered opportunities throughout the year to further their leadership potential. The Geaux Lead staff are committed to creating a lasting experience.
