Women's Voices Changing Lives in the Criminal Justice System

Gendered Justice
The rate of incarceration for women has increased dramatically within the last decade. Prisons have not kept pace with the growth nor has the criminal justice system adapted to most women's needs. This panel will address new perspectives to public debates on women in this system in addition to women's advocates, sentencing policy, re-entry, reconnecting, and a myraid of other issues that directly affect their lives.
