Mary Wallace, PhD
As the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Campus Life, Mary provides overall vision and leadership for the area of Campus Life. She has served in this role since 2008. Mary’s career in student affairs began in 1994 at the University of Arkansas Monticello. She then spent 14 years in the area of residential life/student housing in Arkansas, the University of Tulsa, Texas Woman’s University, and LSU, before moving over to the Office of the Dean of Students at LSU in 2008. Mary loves meeting students, and spending time finding out how they want to lead and serve, and how they want to leave their mark through their involvement at LSU, and ultimately beyond graduation. She is a devoted wife, and mother of 4 daughters. It is this role that Mary feels her best leadership shines. She spends lots of time in service with her church, and volunteering for different youth events with her children. Her favorite LSU memory is walking across the graduation stage at LSU on August 3, 2012 to obtain her doctoral degree, and hearing, "We love you, Mommy."

Jacob Brumfield
As the Assistant Dean of Students and Associate Director of Campus Life, Jacob serves as the overall advisor for the LSU Homecoming Coordinating Committee and supervises the Assistant Directors of Activities, Leadership and Service who support the Campus Kitchens projects at LSU, Leading Streak, Spring Greening Day, Student Activities Board and Volunteer LSU. Jacob (LSU '95) returned to his undergraduate alma mater in 2008. In the intervening years, he earned a Master's degree from Colorado State University, served the Wichita State University (Kansas) community and started a family. Jacob follows his hometown Franklinton High School (La.) Demons' football team and supports his high school alma mater - the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts (Natchitoches, La.) He loves time with family, live music, watching sports, travelling and great experiences with terrific people.

Margo Jolet
Margo serves as the Associate Director of Campus Life for Marketing & Communications, developing brand platform, strategic messaging, and visual identity; administering, directing, and managing integrated marketing communications campaigns and public relations; and conceptualizing strategies for meeting event and activity participation goals to further advance university student retention and success outcomes. Margo is originally from New Iberia, but has been "home" at LSU since her days earning bachelor's degrees in English and psychology. She is pictured here with her sister, Olivia Jolet, a senior enrollment advisor in LSU Enrollment Management. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, dachshunds, and good design.

Michelle Lowery
As the Associate Director of Campus Life – Special Events, Michelle coordinates large scale events for the University including Fall Fest and Candlelight Celebration as well as other special events for Campus Life, the Office of the Dean of Students, and the Division of Student Life and Enrollment. Michelle has been working at LSU for 13 years. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Master’s Degree in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi. Michelle is also working on a Ph.D. in Higher Education at LSU. Michelle is originally from Mississippi and has a twin brother and two half-brothers.

Josh Dean
As the Assistant Director of Campus Life, Josh Dean advises the service area of Campus Life, including Volunteer LSU, Kitchens on the Geaux, Geaux BIG Baton Rouge, and Spring Greening Day. He received his B.S. in Journalism and Mass Media from the University of Idaho and his Ed.M. in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University. In his free time he enjoys reading, writing, traveling, running and rodeos.

Craig Marcus
Craig serves as the Assistant Director of Campus Life for Activities, advising the Student Activities Board (SAB) leadership, the organization’s three committees, and is the overall advisor for the Student Homecoming Committee. Craig is originally from Chicago and earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Master’s Degree in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University before coming to LSU in 2008. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at LSU and in his free time he enjoys being active outdoors, reading a good book, and sitting on the couch watching a movie.

Rachel Spencer
Rachel serves as the Assistant Director of Campus LIfe for Leadership, advising the Leading Streak student organization, coordinating leadership workshops and retreats, and collaborating to develop leadership programming that prepares LSU students to initiate change. Rachel is originally from Maryland and earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Exercise Science (Administration - Higher Education) from McDaniel College before beginning a 10 year career in student life. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership in Higher Education at the University of New Orleans and in her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering in the New Orleans community and watching football.

Veronica Shaffer
As an Administrative Coordinator for Campus Life, Veronica provides overall office management for Campus Life. She assists in monitoring accounts and expenditures for Campus Life, and supervises the Campus Life student assistants. Veronica enjoys traveling, watching HGTV and spending time with family and friends. She has worked at LSU for 10 years.

Graduate Assistants
 

Josh Englund
Josh is the Graduate Assistant for Activities, and works closely with both the Homecoming Committee and Student Activities Board. He recently graduated with a B.A. in Telecommunication and Film from the University of West Florida, and is now entering his first year of graduate work at LSU, pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, watching sporting events and spending time with his wife, and their dog Sammy.

Kourtney Gray
Kourtney is the Gradute Assistant for Leadership Development. Kourntey has already earned his B.S. in Social work and his M.S. in Rehabilitiation Administration and Services from Sounthern Illinois University Carbondale. He is currently working on his PhD in Higher Education at LSU. At Southern Illinois University Carbondale he was extremely involved in Greek Life, Student Government, Residence Life, and everything in between. In his spare time Kourtney enjoys sleeping, watching the Price is Right, the Food Channel, and football, and playing tennis. Kourtney is very excited to be a Tiger and can't wait to cheer them on. Geaux Tigers!!!

Sara Keimig
Sara is the Graduate Assistant for Student Organization. She recently graduated from Boston University and is studying Higher Education at LSU. She is excited to be working with the Involvement Peer Mentors and helping students to get involved and pursue their passions at LSU. So far, Sara is loves living in the South after growing up in the northeast.

Angela Russell
Angela, the Graduate Assistant for Service, graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in History. She is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration at LSU. As an undergrad, Angela was involved in Alternative Breaks and Dance Marathon. Although Angela is originally from Florida, she first visited Louisiana to volunteer with a rebuilding organizatin in the New Orleans area after Hurricane Katrina. Angela recently finished a 10-month AmeriCorps term working to continue the recovery of the New Orleans area. Angela enjoys yoga, all things Disney, college football, traveling, and spending time with her church family.

Leslie Wells
Leslie, the Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Communications, graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communications and a minor in History from McNeese State Universtiy. She is now entering her first semester of Graduate School, pursuing a Master's Degree in Mass Communications. As an undergraduate Leslie was involved in numerous campus organizations including Up 'til Dawn, Phi Mu, Student Government, Student Union Board, and Rotaract. In her free time Leslie enjoys movies, spending time with her family and dog Tucker, crafting, Pinterest, Disney, and traveling. She is extremely excited to be a part of the Campus Life family.

Allen Womble
Allen is the Graduate Assistant for Activities and Special Projects. Allen is a second year Master's student in the Higher Education Administration program. As a Graduate Assistant, Allen directly advises the Homecoming Spirit and Marketing Committees. Allen says he is addicted to Facebook, could not live without music and enjoys cooking for friends.
