What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the LSU Lakes. It’s nice to have a natural setting in the middle of a city where you can go and burn off energy. There is always a lot of activity with students and community members running, walking, paddle boarding and kayaking.

What is your best college leadership experience?

My most memorable college leadership experience was serving as a team leader for an alternative service break trip to Sisters, Oregon. I was able to identify a community issue and plan an experience for others to learn more about the ways that organizations are working to address critical community needs.  It helped open my eyes to power we all have to transform places, people and ourselves.
