President’s Message |
|
Welcome to the 93rd year of Campus Club of LSU! Campus Club was formed to help promote friendships among faculty and faculty spouses. This year we will continue the tradition for the past 36 years of awarding scholarships to children or grandchildren of Campus Club members. We will also collect children’s books at the December event to be donated to an early literacy program conducted by one of our members.
As you look through this yearbook note the Schedule of Events to attend as well as a listing of Special Interest Groups. These provide avenues to meet new people as well as ways to become involved in our organization. Campus Club members are eligible to attend all social events as well as participate in Special Interests Groups. Members may contact the chairpersons for additional information and/or to sign up for a group. We offer a variety of groups and hope you will consider becoming an active participant. Another way to get involved is to be on one of our support committees or on our event planning committees.
Our organization is made up of amazing, multitalented women to get to know. I hope you will take advantage of the opportunities Campus Club offers to introduce yourself to fellow members.
Again, welcome to Campus Club. I look forward to meeting you and working with you during the upcoming year.
Sincerely,
Rosanne Roberts President, 2012-2013 |
