SDEIS Student Organizations

The Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship and Information Systems offers two major-specific student organizations to both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, the department also encourages students to get involved with organizations associated with different majors and the college as a whole.

 

AITP Career Fair

Association of Information Technology Professionals

AITP is the largest professional management association in the country. The organization provides an atmosphere in which students can learn more about the world of information processing and what will be expected from them as a professional in the field. Professional meetings with speakers are combined with social occasions for a well-rounded organizational agenda. Membership is open to students of all majors. To join, please send an email to one of the officers.

Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization

Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization

The purpose of the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Organization is to promote entrepreneurship on the college level by providing an innovative and interactive learning environment. Assistance with career development and creating career goals is provided, while fostering interaction with local entrepreneurs and faculty members.
