Since the state of Louisiana is the only state in the USA that uses Parishes as its primary political subdivision (instead of counties) and Baton Rouge is the capital city of Louisiana, the Baton Rouge Amateur Radio Club sponsors the WORKED ALL PARISHES award certificate for qualified applicants.
