Ann Davis Duplessis
Ann Davis Duplessis is the senior vice president of Retail Banking, Marketing, Private Banking & Sales, Insurance at Liberty Bank & Trust Co.
She previously served the citizens of New Orleans as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) under Mayor Mitch Landrieu. As Deputy CAO, Mrs. Duplessis managed multiple departments that deliver vital city services, including Health, Human Services, Safety & Permits, Taxi Cab· Bureau, Code Enforcement, Environmental Health & Safety, Sanitation, Parks & Parkways and New Orleans Recreational Department. Additionally, she served as the customer service czar, helping to transform city government into a more customer friendly and efficient organization.
Mrs. Duplessis is formally the Louisiana State Senator for District 2 from 2002 -2010 serving New Orleans East, Holy Cross and the Lower Ninth Ward communities. Senator Duplessis retired in June 2010 to accept the Deputy CAO’s position in her hometown of New Orleans. Initially elected in 2002 in her first run for public office, she served as Chairwoman of the Commerce, Consumer Protection and International Affairs Committee, Member of Judiciary C, Education, Select Committee on Hurricane Recovery, State of Louisiana Small Business Development Center Advisory Board, The Working Uninsured Task Force, Select Committee on Women and Children and is an ex-officio member of the Senate Committee on Insurance. Nationally she served as vice chair of the communications, Financial Services & Interstate Commerce Committee of the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Mrs. Duplessis serves on the LSU Board of Supervisors, the Louisiana Serve Commission and Past Chairwoman and Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO).
She has served on the Board of Trustees for the LSU Graduate School of Banking, the Governor’s Study Commission on Consolidation of Higher Education Board, and the Study Commission on Notary. She has more than 28 years banking experience retiring in June 2010 as senior vice president of Liberty Bank and Trust.
Duplessis an unwavering public servant, an entrepreneur, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is married to Virgil Duplessis, and they have three beautiful daughters, Brooks, Lindsey and Heather, and three granddaughters -- Camille, Brooklyn and Sydney.
