University, HSS, Major, and Minor Residency Requirements

UNIVERSITY RESIDENCY
Students must earn at least 25% of the total number of hours required for the degree through regular enrollment at LSU- Baton Rouge.

HSS RESIDENCY
Students must complete, at a minimum, his or her last 30 semester hours through regular enrollment while enrolled in HSS at LSU.

MAJOR RESIDENCY
Students must complete a minimum of 15 hours in their major at LSU-BR through regular enrollment, with at least 9 hours specifically at the 3000 level or higher.

MINOR RESIDENCY
Students must complete a minimum of 6 hours of upper level (3000 level or higher) coursework in their minor at LSU-BR through regular enrollment.
