We have designed Transfer Student Orientation to be a one stop shop for success for you where you have everything that you need in one location for a great first semester (i.e., faculty advisors, college counselors, etc). After attending Transfer Student Orientation, please contact a staff member in our office to schedule an appointment with an academic counselor if you should have any additional questions.

To schedule an appointment after Transfer Student Orientation, you may stop by our office in 119 Hodges Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or call us at (225) 578-3141. We utilize a team approach to advising in our office; our academic counselors can assist you in reviewing a degree audit and determining which courses are needed for successful completion of your degree, and our faculty advisors can assist you in providing detailed information about specific courses beyond what is available in the LSU General Catalog and about career options in your field of interest.
