I am evaluating how Flooding can Increase the Risk of Contamination and Persistence of Human and Fungal Pathogens on Cantaloupe Fruits

Objectives:

  • Evaluate the microbial quality of cantaloupe fruit grown on raised beds and flat ground following a flooding event.
  • Assess plant diseases caused by soil borne pathogens following a flooding event.
