University Fundraising Units
LSU Alumni Association
The LSUAA strives to keep our alumni connected by maintaining up-to-date records for more than 200,000 alumni and by extending the network through alumni clubs worldwide. We also support programs that touch all areas of university life. Contributions and gifts enable us to fund student scholarships, distinguished faculty awards, and provide salary supplements to reward teaching excellence.
The LSU Foundation
The LSU Foundation fosters private financial support for LSU and the A&M College. The Foundation encourages and receives capital gifts and bequests for the University, including both restricted and unrestricted gifts. It also manages most of the investments and serves as trustee for most of the endowed funds and other private assets contributed for the benefit of the University.
Tiger Athletic Foundation
The Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) is a private, nonprofit corporation dedicated to supporting LSU and its athletic programs. LSU has a proud athletic tradition, highlighted by scores of Southeastern Conference and NCAA Championships in more than 20 men’s and women’s varsity sports. TAF plays an integral role in sustaining that outstanding tradition. It is the primary source of private funding for LSU Athletics. The mission is to lead the University in building a comprehensively superior athletic program.
